Region V of the National Bar Association is providing a great opportunity to find out more about entertainment law. Region V is presenting Music Festivalooza Continuing Legal Education Seminars on Friday, July 6, 2007, 8:30am-12:30pm. The seminars will feature nationally recognized law professors, entertainment lawyers, agents and managers who represent major and independent film and television production companies and major recording artists. SRBLSA Academic Retreats have been scheduled as follows:
Sub-Region 1: Memphis, TN--September 7-8
Sub-Region 2: New Orleans, LA -- September 21-23
Sub-Region 3: Columbia, SC--October 27
Sub-Region 4: San Juan, Puerto Rico--November 9-11
Sub-Region 5: Birmingham, AL--October 12-14

Please make plans to attend our Academic Retreat. Last year, we had a fabulous time at the retreat in New Orleans, LA. Guess What? We are going to do it again! Sub-Region 2 will help the National Executive Board bring the National Academic Retreat back to New Orleans! The Retreat will focus on everything from being successful in Class, on the Bar, and in Practice.
